静岡聖光学院の生徒は、国際的な学術行事に参加するため、ブルネイ・ダルサラームを訪問しました。
2026年4月8日、本校はインターナショナルスクール・ブルネイ主催の「第21回ボルネオ・グローバル・イシューズ・カンファレンス（BGIC）」に参加いたしました。本会議は3日間にわたり開催され、23校が参加しました。開会式にはブルネイ王室の一員が臨席され、多くの要人や外交関係者が出席する中、盛大に執り行われました。
会議では、生徒たちは持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の目標7「すべての人々に、手頃で信頼できる持続可能かつ近代的なエネルギーへのアクセスを確保する」をテーマに、活発な議論を行いました。
また、会議期間中には、ブルネイの歴史や文化に触れる機会にも恵まれました。あわせて、現地の教育機関への訪問も実施し、ナイフ先生の母校であるジェルドン・インターナショナルスクール（JIS）および同国を代表する大学であるブルネイ・ダルサラーム大学（UBD）を訪問しました。
静岡聖光学院は、このたびインターナショナルスクール・ブルネイと協力覚書（MOU）を締結いたしました。今後は、継続的な交流と協働を通じて、両校の連携を一層強化し、持続的なパートナーシップの構築を目指してまいります。
Shizuoka Seiko Academy students recently visited Brunei Darussalam to participate in an international conference.
On 11th April 2026, Shizuoka Seiko Academy took part in the 21st Borneo Global Issues Conference (BGIC), hosted by the International School Brunei (ISB). The three-day conference brought together 23 participating schools. The opening ceremony was officiated by Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess of Brunei and was attended by distinguished guests, including VIPs and members of the diplomatic corps.
During the conference, students engaged in discussions centred on Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7), focusing on ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.
In addition to the conference programme, students participated in educational and cultural visits to key institutions in Brunei Darussalam. These included Jerudong International School (JIS), which Mr. Naif is an alumni, and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), the nation’s leading university.
Shizuoka Seiko Academy has recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International School Brunei. The Academy looks forward to further strengthening ties and fostering a sustainable partnership through continued collaboration and exchange.
